Can you purchase tickets at the gate or do you have to have them pre-ordered?

6X2 you can get tickets at the gate and if you're bringing a car in to the show you need to get there early.

What's the parking situation like for old schools at the racetrack. This is my first time going & would like to know if theres a good area to park so your not in general population. If theres a carshow or pit area that you can pay to get in. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

bmc, there is show parking fri, sat & sun. Get there early or you might end up parked out in the dirt next to the swap area.

CHRR 19 will be a send off for my wife of 43 years. Of all the events ,this was her favorite. She and I got married shortly after the '65 Smokers Meet and when the first reunion happened it became a yearly must do. Our whole family will be making the trek to wish Carole goodby. My pal "Stormy" Bird has something special planned for her , a ride in the newly repainted "Revelation" and a happy ending. Have a safe trip to Bako and drop by "Stormy's" pit ,he's got new drivers cards for this event. Spence aka Snaptoo

    Chili Phil -
Glad you like it! Its a Neal & Parks chassis. We ran a Uyehara chassis before this one. Guy Ruchonet did the back half of the body, and the cowl in front of the motor. He made it for us out of carbon. Art Himsl Did the paint. Come by the Champion speed shop pit and say hi.

  19. Hurt my engine in my Model A last weekend (Developed a knock after one to many burnouts) and won't be at Hooters tomorrow night as Trad27 and I will be fixing the bottom end of my banger or swapping my spare engine in. Hope to have it out again on Friday for Sonic and good for the drive to Famoso and back Saturday.-Weeks

How bad did you hurt the motor after Saturdays pass? Lots of smoke when you went through the lights.

Just got back, what a weekend!! Drove the primered grey 66 Ford LTD 4 dr down
65 to 80 down and back. 4 quarts of oil and a rear wheel bearing other than that all was good. The Racin was awsome. Did anybody see Mighty Mike Boyd do His burnout got sideways crossed the centerline went between Randy Bradford and the wall then BACK
into His lane backed up staged the car and won the Race at like 206 MPH
ALL HAIL MIGHTY MIKE BOYD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We were behind the second to the last bleechers in the grove all 3 days. LOTS of empty beer cans. JR picked up a set of 10 inch Magnesium 5 spoke Americans in the swap meet that are ReallyNice. I stopped by the Vipers to say Hi to Phill but missed Him ,maybe next year. Absolutly the best event of the year. See Ya next Year it will be our 16th. FED
