I'm a big fan of the japanese style for hot rods, customs and old motorcycles... They are at the top of the world in design and perfectionism...

    Keep sharing!

This thread knocked my eyes out. I knew about Paradise Road, several years ago I saw the Rod Riguez car. That was my first clue that something very special was happening in Japan.
Now I'm pleased to see there are more shops building incredible cars for more enthusiastic people. I'm glad there's a way for this kind of scene to thrive in such a legally strict country. It gives me hope for my country, where it gets harder every day to enjoy hot rods and customs.
I guess you've just got to really, reeealllly want it.

Great photos Toshi and thanks for taking the time to share them with us. Japan looks like a great place for a car nut to take an extended vacation.

I can't remember who posted the cruising video but that is one of the best cruising/car videos that I have ever seen anywhere and great fun to watch when I have insomnia at 05:00 in the AM

Gents thank you for sharing the photos and videos and giving us a good look at what you have going on over there.

any pictures of the 56 GMC pickup from the Prongers C.C.(Three Rivers). I've seen it in the background of one of your pictures earlier in this thread.

I'm curious, what kind of music do you hear people playing at these shows? Japanese music ... American music ... some of both?

I have a few Japanese bands on my iPod that I love, and they get played in the Pontiac too .... the pillows, Bump of Chicken, Shonen Knife (少年ナイフ), andymori, Quruli (くるり) ...

this bike is sick!!!! I would ride the hell out of this bike. I can picture myself doing about 90 on the freeway giving the finger to haters and gawkers! My jaw hit the keyboard when I saw this thing. You guys are doing things right over there.

Love the pics Toshi! Between cars and bikes, y'all really got it going on!

  27. Wow, surprised at all the reaction here. That's good! I didn't think people cared much since I never got much response from my threads on Japanese cars shows. Since I see people are in fact interested, here are some links with pics I posted before.

I thought I posted pics from the 2 2009 Beach Party shows, but now that I think about it, I posted them on Chevy Bombs site because I didn't feel people were that interested here, unfortunately their site has been down for maintenance for a few months.

I hear ya. Listening to X Japan while cruising down the road is perfect! Coincidentally, I have to turn it up loud to hear over my 460! :D
