I wondered why nobody had really done one of these cars up nicely. That looks amazingly good.

    Whats next? Carson top?

What is the silver car? Special Peugeot?

Because the size is "ridiculous" for you!?

No carson top! just cover tonneau..this car is for summer only!

Yes it's a Peugeot 404 coupé 1966 Pininfarina (my daily driver)
    Happy marriage France/Italy !

Is the Flathead a V8-60 ? I have a friend here who has a V8-60 out of a late 50's early 60's French car and I swear he said it was a Vedette. It has a single water pump and a more modern transmission 4 spd.

Awesome! I have been looking with interest at old French cars in the last few months thinking how much custom/hot rod potential they have... this one is good proof i think :)

In fact the Vedette is more a US car for Europe than a real french car .

Beau boulot . En plus une 404 cabriolet .... Miam .
T inquietes pas , ici il y a quelques quebecois , francais ou francais immigrés ( j en fait parti ) qui sauront traduire si besoin :p

Now this one is finished , what will be the next ?
A Citroen B14 Torpedo with a Blown PRV ? ( blown = avec blower , compresseur comme Mad MAx )
    PRV is a V6 3500 cc .

PS : y a pas que moi a avoir abuser de Chromes et Flammes et Rod et Custom a l ado je vois ..

In those cars it was named the "Aquilon" it is based on the V8-60 they are 2.5 liter which is about 152.5 CI, all aftermarket heads and intakes from the Ford can bolt on, I'm not sure about the bearings, but I do believe that only some are interchangeable. Those suckers cost an harm and a leg to rebuild, usually people find a good running engine to replace theirs if it needs a rebuild.
I'd like to build one of those with Simca Do Brazil OHV heads and a 2 carb Talbot intake.

Absolument magnifique - quel travail, quelle vision. Je suis étonné combien de mecs il y a sur le HAMB qui parlent Français.

Absolutely magnificent - what workmanship, what vision. I am amazed how many guys there are on the HAMB who speak French.;)

Interesting I will have to tell my friend about this, since he is not that familiar with them. He also has a Sabra which he said came from Israel that I never seen before and this is all in North Eastern Pennsylvania here in the US.Kind of funny how things make it in the most unexpected ares of the globe.....lol
