Well....I'm glad someone took some pictures, I just wasn't in the mood to take any...Maybe the 6 hour drive on Friday & the 3 hours sleep Friday night ***isted that!

We were at the top end when The Wing ran on Saturday evening.....following the lane change burnout.

Mike p***ed us at 206 MPH with the front wheels still in the air! Incredible run....

 

We were right before mid track.

Mike is on hell of a driver.

 

Let's see, I'll take one of those, 4 of those, a set of those, ahhhh, just like a kid in a candy store, I could really fix up my hot rod with some of those parts,,

It was another great year in bakersfield. Thanks for the great pictures,I never took my camera out of the car because I knew someone would take better pictures than I. The black primered 30 roadster in the first picture from oregon is Chris Mccormick and eric black. What a great weekend and always worth the drive from washington.

 

Doug, excellent photo's of the event, as for the group shot at Hanna's you have many who' who's including Tom Jobe (between Wallace boys), Wayne King (tall with beard) , Mike Kuhl, Carl Olson, Dave Jeffers (straw hat), Bill Pitts (Magicar), Tommy Allen, Danny Broussard (he and Carl on front row) Don Prieto, to name a few. Will send you a complete list of all when Wayne returns home on Wed. This is their yearly gathering for a group photo op started by King called DragRacersInc.

By any chance do you have a pic of the red full fendered model a coupe with the blown nailhead, polished Americans/moon tank? TONS and TONS of work in that ride! Didn't have a camera but am looking for a pic....
