Just picked up this '61 Galaxie. Braining on what to do to it.

Straight. Little bits of rust, but solid. 292. Mint interior. Blah blah blah.

Drop it. Skirt it. Lose the gunsights off of the top of the fenders. Shave the hood and deck and lose he emblem of of the C-Pillar. Peep mirrors, keep the side trim, keep the center bar of the grille and black out the stamped pieces. Bullet tailights ('59 Buick?), chrome reversed wheels with Spiders and drive. Oh, and glass packs on the Y-Block.
VVVVVVVVRRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmm....

 

Sounds like you've had that plan rattling around in your head for some time now.

you could bring it to me id love to find a 61 starliner but yours would be a step in the right direction
