Took the car out last night to put a few laps on me with the new tranny and to figure out how many Mountian Dews I need for a pro tree.

Well guys, I don't know if I'll be able to make it or not now. As I'm typing this I'm laying in a hospital bed in Sherman.

I came to the ER Friday evening and the physician's assistant couldn't figure out what was wrong. Stayed the night at my mom's house and Saturday morning when I woke up I felt worse, so much so that I was crying like a baby, so back to the ER we went. The surgeon came and looked at me and said, "oh hell yes, you have a perirectal abscess and we need to do surgery."

I haven't had a problem with my Crohn's disease since 2006, so I shouldn't be too surprised. And of course, this would have to happen when my wife is in Canada for 9 days for work.

Thanks guys. They let me go home today, so I'm at the house taking it easy now. I will be off of work the rest of this week, so that sucks, but hopefully that will give me enough time to recuperate and get back to work next Monday.

Thanks guys. They have me on a few antibiotics and some pain meds but I'm still not feeling real great. Haven't been feeling like eating and my stomach has been feeling real rough. Hopefully it's just part of the meds they're giving me.

I'm hanging in there though.
