'40 Ford - new frame + IFS: Anyone done this ?

    I guess there are a couple of us who were driving on borrowed time with this old Ford. From the two owners before me, I'd say there were 500+ miles put on the car with local driving. Funny thing is, other than than a stiff ride, it tracks and drives pretty straight.

    It'll take awhile, but I'm leaning towards buying a roller and doing the wrench work myself. First time pulling a body, but I've got the time to learn and in the end it maybe it'll last another 70 years.

    Thats a good way to look at it. Whichever way you decide to go take your time and have fun with it. Getting in a hurry or setting deadlines takes the fun out of it. Gary
