They're "Drag Mags", made by Forsight Ventures some time during the mid 60's, only for a couple of years. I have a set with a ford pattern, they're well made wheels.

  24. I wanted one of those "cat" things like in photo #3, but then I saw the OTHER "cat things" in the other posts... Here kitty kitty... :)

  26. Konnichiwa!

I couldn't agree more! I've been to Japan twice (Sasebo and Yokosuka) and both times the people were OUTSTANDINGLY nice and went WAY out of their way to help me when I was a little lost, and I even had 2 young ladies drive me about 15 miles back to my hotel after I missed the last train for the night when I went out sightseeing. They wouldn't take NO for an answer, wouldn't take money for gas (and no they weren't hookers). I met them by asking where I could get a cab or a bus back to the hotel at a take-out restaurant and they offered their help when they overheard me asking the waitress...

I was also impressed with how amazingly clean most everywhere that I went to was (except for the parts of town where the Americans hung out the most... go figure!!!). They don't even flick the ashes from their cigarettes on the ground! In their "everything's a hundred yen" stores they sell "portable ashtrays"... I could go on...

Even though I never saw any musclecars or hot rods there, I did manage to find out where the tuners hung out one night (car guys are car guys, I don't care what you say!). EVERY and I mean EVERY car there looked like it was professionally built in a mega-dollar shop, but everyone that I talked to said that they had done a majority of the work themselves. None of that mis-matched primered Pep Boys crap bondo'd onto the car like I see so much of here...

I'd have LOVED to have seen the cars on this thread in person while I was there. Domo Arigato for posting them!!!!
