The front fender and door trim appear to be Buick. The rear fender trim is stock '52 Chev; the grille is stock '51 Chev.
The trim on the front, door and short piece that touches the mud guard is '54, '55 Buick trim like Larry Watson's Grapevine. This is a very old custom tick, my have been used by Larry first. The grille is '51 Chevy that has no teeth like the '52 Chevy. CRUISER
Since I'm building '52 Chevy fleetline this one has the look I'm going for in my ride, the only chance mine will roll on solids and '57 Caddy caps CRUISER
The '49 Chevy business coupe I drove in High School, Earl Schieb Gold Desert paint, Cadillac seats, dumped in front, push button radio held on my favorite R&R station with a tooth pick... forever cool in my mind....
anybody knows if the doors of a 2 door 49 fastback chevy will fit a 4 door 49 fastback, planning on a 2 door conversion, of course moving the post back and cutting quarters, im concern about the fit being the 2 door a longer door
there are some really nice cars on this thread...hoping maybe mine could be close to as nice as them...
I have this which I wanted to recreate one I had in my teens but just can not seem to fine parts in particular moulding and trim. Guess I'll just keep it if I can not sell and figure out what to do. May have to improvise on the garnish moulidng.
Mine. It is based on an illustration that Steve Stanford did in Rod and Custom in 1995. His illustration was a '54 2-door with a Fastback roof ... mine is a '51 Fastback with '54 rear quarters and taillights. It's the same one used in my Avatar. Any questions, please PM me. __________________________________ "It's not an old car ..... It's an attitude!!"
