I don't think the photo is flopped. That's definately the spectator side we're looking at in the photo.

  3. Yep its been on here, but worth a repost. Family friend Norm Reis from Cincy that was a well known NHRA top ten guy in the mid 60s. That pic is from Columbus in about 66 or 67.

That body is completely molded fiberglass, with a flip top to get in and out. Was fabbed by a cincy area striper and glass guy back then. Norm only ran that body for a few races and it was retired. The body showed up a couple years ago and we got it in our shop. Neat piece!

And the playboy bunny from the club is a nice addition too...:)

No, that is the first grandstand; right next to the hot car pits. It's almost directly across from the tower.

Sox and Martin's car after Buckeye and Vernon had it? How do you confirm that?
Upside down Ford image- late '60's-early '70's? Looks like his Cragar came apart. They did that back then. I worked at a speed shop, we got a bunch of returns on them...

No wheelie bars, radial tires and a a couple of turbos. Very entertaining class to watch. I'm glad he's ok as well.
