My little helper and I took a trip out west of Tulsa this morning to a lot where a truck I have been looking at is located. While I was there, I shot some pics of the stuff he's got sitting around, not sure what he wants for any of it but if anyone is interested pm me and I'll put you in touch with the guy who can find out. Hope y'all enjoy the pics!
Is this located between sapulpa and bristow.....Ive seen them before somewhere.... good pics What did ya pic up
yeah, that's it. My friend knows the guy that owns all of it and I met him out there to look at a '60 chevy truck he's got there, I'm trying to raise funds to bring that one home.
Classic pics that you have with your little one. Vey cute! Cherish those moments, youll look back one day when shes all grown. Beautiful man! I like the candid shot of her and the comet, just classic!
Thanks, she's such a ham it's hard to get a shot without her in it. I took my wife along with us on this trip and it turns out she wants that Comet, painted red
Big selection of old iron there and one with a Y block. Good to see some of the old cars and trucks still being saved. Thanks for posting them for us to look at.
yeah the story I got from my friend is that the guy that has these was running the countryside buying them up off farms etc to take to the crusher for scrap, but saved these to sell to car junkies like us because he didn't believe they belonged in the scrap heap. There's a lot more stuff there, not all hamb friendly, several 67-72 chevy trucks and a really nice 70 or 71 tbird.
And, oh yeah, the Y-block with the t-bird valve covers isn't in one of those t-birds, it's in a 4 door ford station wagon, a '56 I think. I thought I had taken a pic of it too but when I got home I just had a pic of the engine.
Buddy, go back and pick up that Comet for her. You should have it done by the time she gets her permit. And think of the knowledge she'll have. Good Daddy/Daughter time
I really want to pick up that comet, the wife loves it and it's in really good shape, just a rusted out place on the lower rear quarter on the drivers side. Just gotta figure out how to raise the capital to do it, things have been pretty tight lately....
An older fellow patted the side of one of those chev's and said he'd bought it "Indian surplus!" T'was an Apache.
Great pics , awesome day with your daughter....cool !...wish we could find junk yards around here with that inventory......
