Ouch.....It's good that you're OK, but your truck sure took a hit. My 55 Cameo was crunched like that about 15 years ago.

Man, sorry to hear / see, glad you're okay. It was a great looking truck before, and I'm sure it will be again. Now you've got something to do this winter...

    Hey,

Any metalman worth a pinch of shit can save the fender & hood panel. The facebar will take an hour or two, in a press to straighten. The grille pieces can be straightened as well, it just takes time. I've never had good luck finding replacement sheetmetal or trim pieces for this era GMC pick up. Ya find the Bowtie tin all day long, but the GMC tin, not!

Good to hear you're intact & good luck with the rebuild,

Well, look on the bright side, it was time to flush your cooling system...

Glad to hear your OK, it's easy to say when it ain't yours but...it's just metal and it was a mess once before...

  23. REALLY Glad you walked away from that one. I couldn't stand losing anymore family right now.

Have you checked Jim Carter Chevy truck parts? www.oldchevytrucks.com. I've gotten a lot of parts from him, service is good and so is the quality.

Man, you must have fists of steel! :)

Too bad on the truck, but it looks repairable.

  27. Don't you know the insurance company is already getting ready for the fight. Probably look like Rocky getting into shape right now. Good luck. I hope you get her back into shape.
