Those 'one seaters' were used for hauling steel and pipe and such. Racks on both sides.

Pulled this one home today from Earl Shiebs place. 1955 GMC, got a few ideas for it but nothing too crazy.

You can find them on that auction site. Scout for places that specialize in wrecked semis. I found the one I have on my car trailer in a junkyard for wrecked semis

I know there are some pics of this in the last 56 pages, but came across these in some old files today. So here are a couple of the famous old Canadian Beer Truck.

Went to look at this one today.....kinda bummed, it has a lot of body damage. It's fixable but would be a lot of work. Looks like they picked it up with a cable thru the doors. If I can get a good deal on it I will likely buy it.....

Can't, they are pretty much indistinguishable in those years. And the 37-39 is kinda the same with the Oval grille which interchanges.

Mounted the body on the new chassis a couple weeks ago. It is 5 feet shorter than the original chassis and almost a foot lower. Will post more pics as work progresses. May start a new thread on this build also.

Your Ford COE would be 42-47.
Others have said 1940 but 1940 had an Oval Grille with a triple Rib Trim around it, just like the Triple Rib Wheel Trim.
1941 had vertical bars like your COE but in 1941 they were stainless bars.

    Hope that helps.
If you want more COE's to look at like yours, go to my Web Site below
