This picture was taken in my home town, Alexandria Bay, NY, at one of the ARCA "Round the Houses" races held in the late 30's. That's the old "Thousand Islands House" hotel, now the site of the River Hospital.

It later became the Blakely Oil Rocket and if it still exists, I don't believe has been located yet.

In the 60s, the Bluebird was in a museum in Daytona Beach.
The Constellation. Yes, a beautiful plane. Flew to Japan on one in 1957, and back in 1960. Comfortable, and a good thing because it was a long flight. Roughly 9 hours to Hawaii, 9 hours to Midway, 9 hours to Japan.

countries! Oh, and Errol didn't kill or incinerate anybody either. Other
than that, partyin' dudes! LOL

Actually, Hilter loved children -- especially parboiled! But there
was nothing to put a smile on this joker's face like a surprise prank

satire of him in "The Great Dictator." 1940. Here Adolph
tries to recreate the Chaplin performance impression for
