I am really at a stopping point in my build.. i am trying to get my interior done and was wondering where is a good place to get foam for the seats at. I wanna use the stock seats for the year, i have them tore down and ready to build them back but not too sure on where to get the materials to put them back together.

    Thanks

I took a class on upholstery and we were using cut up comforters to restuff seats. It worked surprisingly well. We installed wire mesh (like screen door stuff) to the springs first, it keeps the batting from poking through the springs, and also keeps mice from being able to chew on it. Then we'd lay down the cut-up quilt padding.

You could use foam too, a Jo-Ann fabrics or Hobby Lobby place would probably be the easiest place to find big chunks of foam. You can cut it with an electric carving knife, works pretty good.

This sounds like the best idea if you are trying to accomplish the task without spending a TON of money.

Wire mesh can be found pretty cheap there, and I know everyone has an old comforter around the house that they dont necessarily need anymore, or try a thrift shop.

    Good Luck.
