Christmas time when i see my family i always get asked how the junk yard is doing or the scrap pile. followed by why are you hoarding that stuff? your possesions weigh you down. the best is some scraper wanted to do me a favor and take my sedan out of the yard. im like wtf i had to pay for that!

call it bragging call it what you want. thought this site was about sharing builds, experiences and thoughts.

  7. I'd be more than happy to free up the valuable space those flatheads are using. Just drop me a PM and "bamm", enough room for another motorcycle.

I had the same problem. Not enough room to run my lathe,or use the sandblast cabinet, wifes car parked out in the snow. So,I built a 4 car garage, and went out and bought more stuff.

You're not a hoarder... you're just garage size challenged. I'm familiar with the condition. I have friends that tell me that I could clutter up a warehouse! I don't think that they meant it as a compliment, either. :p

Skotty, you're not a hoarder, you just have a lot of irons in the fire. That way, when you get tired of working on the truck, you can switch over to the A or the 'vette and visa versa. It's all good.

I just bought a '65 Gran Sport Riviera that's buried in the back of a 30x60 garage. It's so full of bikes, porsches, dune buggies and machinery that it's going to take a couple months to clear the stuff out of the way.

But I bet, just like this guy, you know where everything is and what it fits.

    Keep it up!

    Later,

    Mike

That ain't so bad. I ran across a cop who told me about a polebarn full of cars for sell. I called "Bullshit" so he invited me to go see. The old guy had died and left everything to his grandson. When we get there I see a 60x100 polebarn crammed full of cars. They had cleared about the first 20 foot to make a little shop. The cars were parked so tight you couldn't even "slide" between them. Door handle to door handle, bumper to bumper. The grandson had already sold 12 cars (the nicer two-door stuff). Almost all the stuff was luxury 4-door rides from the early 60's to mid 70's. I couple struck my interest but the kids prices were for A-1 cars and most of the stuff hadn't ran in years or needed completely restored.

haha thanks for the thoughts. it like a puzzle but it works. pretty much what i do. i go to a truck show one week end. rumblers the next. hershey, then another truck show, i just keep switching it up. unless you travel 500 miles you see alot of the same cars in the tri state at every show every cruise. but rotating keeps it interesting.

there is a guy like that by me. i happened to be riding my bicycle past a old plant in my area and the door was open. holy shit 50-60 cars inside. i have a deposit on a 34 sedan that was built in the 60s. hasnt seen day light in 40 years. draw back is that its all the way in the front and the guy has to take every damn car out. guess well have to see what happens. and i ll have to find a place to keep it.

push that split window up on a trailer for a SHOW like ,lets say

    OVERHAULING !

Because they think your'e just the Nice's guy in the world and you deserve something spacial ..........
