Hey Cal-Paul very sweet car...I had to toss a coin when I painted my 46 between the red you painted yours and the green I eventually went for.
I cant wait for this show, we're making the trip from the UK, this is a once in a lifetime chance to see these all cars under the same roof!!
A huge thanks to all involved in putting this together.

We've been having them the last few years in front of the Suede Palace at noon on that Saturday. We've had some really large crowds. Been alot of fun. When the time gets closer there will be a seperate thread for it so the info doesn't get buried. Looking froward to FINALLY meeting you.

I have received emails and PM's from people in England, Sweden, Norway, Australia, New Zealand,as well as all over the U.S. You're right , to have all these historic cars under 1 roof is going to be epic. And the three of us are still working daily to uncover and confirm more cars!

Denise - HotRodLadyCrusr , Yes, the Hamb "Meet & Greet" will be in front of the Suede Palace at Noon - like always, i'll leave all that organizing to you as you are the best at that stuff. Thanks, Axle

p.s. Johnnie Walker was coming, then he decided not to come. We've got to work hard to get him out!

I'll get him to come out. Perhaps I could entice him by offering him sleeping accommodations with me and Megan.:D

This picture is so unbelievably SAD !! I'm sure the present owners only intended to make it their own but it's like a kid growing up and will never be a kid again. Still the same person but you can only look at old albums and remember.

Hi everyone, i'm proud to announce that i have another car confirmed. The Lawrence Garrison 1940 Merc - sectioned with "fadeaways" . Renown Hot Rod collector and restorer Don Orosco's son Patrick owns the car and is getting it ready in time for the event.

I dont know what everyone's problem is, it looks like an easy transformation to me.... besides, it looks like who ever has it loves it and is taking care of it.
would you prefer it be sitting outside next to a barn in the middle of nowhere like most of these old cars are?

  27. Hello Gents, I really wanted this car here bad and now im glad its coming.A serious early eastcoast custom here.
    -3 inch chopped windshield
-Remembered as having a cut down folding top
    - Doors have been cutdown at the top of em
    - Body was channeled 4 inches and fenders were raised to match.
    - Hood & trunk have been sectioned.
    - Full fadeaways that look gorgeous.
    - Exaust used to run out the back of the rear quarter panels above the rear bumper but have been filled in by the looks of the pics :(.
Just a lil history on the car , it has a story saying that it was worked on at Valley Custom for its finishing touches. A very nice early survivor.

Hello everyone and a good Monday to you all, as stated in the very beginning of this thread the plan is to finish the end of the building with a handful of contemporary builds that are reminiscent of yesteryear . John Fisher's 36 three window captures the true essence of a 40's/early 50's build and we're proud to announce that it will be a part of this display.

  29. This show just gets better with every new entry. Think I am going to ask Santa Clause for a new camera just for this show, and if he doesn't bring me one I guess I will have to get one for myself. Counting the days to this show!!
