Yep. '60 Buick Mitch is what I call him. Sold him a couple sedans about twenty years back, and he wanted a '60 convertible I had in the yard for the same price I sold him the sedans for.

Needless to say, that deal fell through for him.

    Nice enough fellow, however.

Man, I shed a tear for Lemon Lime. I can only hope a maniac bought it at the sale, whose just crazy enough to fix it. Very sad.

No it's not. The 56 is in my back yard. Ahead of it is a 56 three way side load hearse, both superiors. Ask what the amazing story of that black 56 is.

Hey was that black 58 hearse with the bridge in the background out in the far corner of pacific northwest tricities area? If it was I think that's where the 56, posted earlier in this thread in washington came from.

I'm always up for a good car story. What's the story?

  17. Hey, any idea what that little roadster body is? The one with the trunk lid.

I'm with CustomCab, this looks like an uncommon body style, but factory-stock. What the heck is it?

This is my 56 Plymouth Suburban which I doubt if I will ever be able to complete, almost ran it over the scale earlier in the year but just couldn't do it. Feel guilty, but at least I got it out of a dirt field onto concrete and its not going into the dirt more. Have a ton of new parts but just no
$ or time for the poor thing. Sold my running driving one to get this one which may have been a major boo-boo. To soon old, to late smart! ~Sololobo~

THANKS, EVERYBODY, for figuring out it is a Dodge! Fun stuff when guys get together to solve a puzzle so fast. Funny that a nice-looking set-up like this wasn't copied, nor did it last. Maybe (?), it just wasn't too practical, particularly if you had to reach around the spare.

  30. Reason I asked in the first place is because I think that's the first application I have seen of what I would call a modern "trunk lid". You know what I mean?
