Event Coverage Kansas City speed & power

Had a blast! It was a little chilly heading down there in the morning, but warmed up nice in the after noon. I didnt take many pictures, I was too cold after I got there , then found it difficult to take pics while we were driving. We met for a great breakfast ( the pancakes were Huge!) then cruised out to ceck out some two lanes through the Missouri country side. Made a few stops. Drove a few miles.Here is some of what I saw...

 

Looks killer. Sorry I missed out. Last minute change of plans kinda screwed us outta being part of a kick*** cruise.

 

wish you guys coulda made it out, it would be killer following that merc down the road.

 

I almost made it home without a failure. Probably the last 500 mile day this year and flatty was having a little blow-by issue. Ok, a huge issue, but the oil pressure was good soo we kept going. I stopped for a bite to eat , then continued home. got into Omaha within a few miles from home and had a blow out! My wife came to the rescue with a spare and made it home in no time...
It was a damn good weekend.

Jeff, it was great meeting you! Thanks for bringing the old girl down. Seeing your coupe in the rearview had me grinning ear to ear. What a great day!

Trent, I was wondering if I was going to meet you this weekend. I knew you had been in before. Maybe next year?

You would have liked it better if I had been there. I mean hell if its gonna sound wrong lets make it real wrong.

Well I was on shanks mares this year but the only thing it changed was I didn't have to saw at my wheel.

Good times with good folks. Just couldn't ask for a better way to spend a Saturday.

Kerry I really appreciate the ride friend.

 

And if I recall I had an empty cooler of beer........haha.

 

Thanks for the invite.........We (Henry & I) stopped by the breakfast place late (Henry is going thru some teething issues), but everyone was just finishing up. I took a couple of pix with my iPhone.
