Stray Kat feed @ Two Tall Okie's place Nov 6, 2010

Sooo the chili was crunchy because it was armadillo not possum . i thought it was a secret family recipe . Had a blast today . Good food ,great folks . Thank you to everyone who worked to put it on.

Had a great time. Had to leave early making road trip to Iowa in the early AM. Mick glad for you about the motor. Hope you enjoy the pics from Long Beach Motorama. Got to meet Ben and watch him do his magic. Looking forward to May 2011 for the Straykat 500.

Another fantastic time with the Stray Kat family! Thanks to my cruisin buddies yesterday and to Jeff Myers for leading the way. The pictures of Mick's face during the presentation are priceless, I'll have them up tonight at least in an unedited form. The look on his face when he was wearing a sombrero last night made me laugh so hard that I cried.

well ya know. a furnace going out sucks. hate not gettin to see ya but then again, it sure was quiet.

 

what a great weekend, Anne and i, travis, low-&-slow left my house at 8:00, headed to jeffs shop in Ark city, met up with Kevin and Jeff , left there around 10:00 took the most scenic route through oklahome, beautiful drive got to dewey and was met by about a 100 of our best friends. The weather was great, to food fantastic and we presented Mic with his new engine for his merc, was priceless to say the least.Bunch of us went out for mexican that evening, had a ball. Figure around 400 miles , car worked great, little starter problem but healed its self thanks to Anne finding the lucky penny! Great thanks to twotallokie and the entire dewey clan for doing just a wonderful thing...............Damn it was fun!Can wait for Travis to post all the pix!

 

Stopping for gas in ElDorado now, should be home in 2 hours, look for the pics in about 3.

 

Travis was fun running with ya, can wait to see your great pix, put the december cruize together for us and we'll do it all again!

 

I'll get out and explore some possible roads this weekend on the way to Lawrence for the Horton Heat show. I'm uploading the photos from the camera to the computer now. I'll start uploading them to my site in just a few minutes and I'll post some here as soon as they're up.

Some yahoo at the gate wouldn't let me in tho cause the car wasn't "trad" enough !! But it was alright cause I sneaked in the back lot thru the side!! LOL!!

The fam and I took a 2 1/2 hour detour on the way home and walked thru an old junkyard and saw LOTS of gold!!

Sorry for the Duplicate post. Just want to make sure guys know how thankful that I am
and I'll never be the same.....

Well..., This is the second time that we got together for the feed, and we had a heck of
a turn out. 90 plus cars were there and we had people from all over just to sit down and
have a burger with some friends. The agenda, if we had one was to show off Travis (Two
Tall Okies) new Shop wall. Ben Mitchell & Scorch worked two days many hours to create
one of the koolest pieces of Shop art in the country. The guys are blessed with talent and
it was kool to watch them bless Travis. That is or was all I thought that we had planned. I
wasn't aware or prepared on what was going to happen.

Everett called me up to the front and the first thing that came to mind was that Travis?
Dustin?, Jack? Maybe Jeff has made me something and they were going to play a joke on
me, thats ok, I deserve it. I've played my joke or two on some guys. While I was listening I
noticed that this was a serious, very kool thing that was getting read to happen. When I
heard that the guys had been up to.... WOW! I about lost it, I ducked my head while they
were still talking trying to get some thoughts together and had something to say and when
I looked up and saw the 100 cameras, and a thousand eyeballs looking at me I just vapor
locked. I could not say a thing. For the kats that really know me, that hard to do. WOW!!

Then I found out about all of the people that were involved, that is when I about lost it.
I'm so blessed to be welcomed into such a kool family. It is overwhelming to think about
all of the kool family that we have in our group. Thanks go out to everyone that was
involved and in todays time with all of the ways of commuincation. I can't believe that it
didn't leak out some how. Even my wife knew about it.

I pray that my Thank you was recieved as true. I can't put into words what my heart was
going through. Thank you, I wish that I worked at Hallmark and was able to write how thankful
that I am.... WOW!! What a day, I'm sorry if this thank you is a little ruff...

Sombrero hit my head it was too late to act kool...... Had a good time talking to ya we actually talked without just small talking. Looking forward to checking out the pics...

Welcome aboard! It was kool to see how many cars from Arkansas drove over.. Very kool!
I hope that ya guys had a good time and a safe drive home. Looking forward to many more hangouts... Next year the Kats will be heading to Arkansas to visit.

Sorry for the lack of "a lot" of tears but I did almost krap my pants. Thank God it was
only a fart...LOL! I had calls all afternoon and this morning from kats congrat'n me. I
still tear up over the weekend. It was an emotional weekend.
