Sorry to hear that. I've been eating there for years. The better half and I were there a couple of weeks ago. Two burgers, fries, a coke and a milkshake for $13. And a shoebox thrown in. Can't beat that with a big stick. Beach Burgers also have a bike get together once a month. Fairly small and friendly. P.S. Run down to Laguna. On the main beach is a restaurant named the Greeters. They have a deck by the beach and pretty good seafood.
They give you a stamped 54 tag? I thought you had to find an original one just like you have to find stickers for 57-62 YOM plates. See below for the political comments.
Welcome to Costa Mesa, it a a great place to live.....except for ocean air causing averything to rust...LOL.
before you go to the DMV make sure that your car has the proper registration and vin tag , that is all they ae going to inspect if you still have the orig vin tag on the car it should be a breeze , if not well...good luck, either find one or maybe keep it registered in maine...
Great scott another IN N OUT in Costa Mesa!? Hopefully this means the long lines at the 19th Street eats will be a thing of the past.
Lol..I know its walking distance from my place man...its going to be a daily challenge not to stop in whenever im hungry!!
Just be careful on that one. CA law requires you to reg within 20 days of renting or buying a home here. The fines are big if you get caught.
If you get a chance head over to Hawleywoods Barber Shop (949-631-2662) to get a cut, straight razor shave and a cold brew. Just ask for Ceaser and tell him that Chris sent ya.
Hey! Welcome to the Land of Fruits n' Nuts! Yeah, we meet at Papa-Z's in Fountain Valley Saturday mornings 7:00 AM, up the street from Donut-D's. Daily or off-topic cars welcome. Come over and join us some time. There is a TON to do here and you'll start to find at certain times of the year that it's actually stressful trying to get to everything.

(I hang in Fullerton.) Not the best of times in the Peoples Republic of California. The following keeps me hopeful. Clubs: Juke Joint and Doll Hut in Anaheim. Detroit Bar in Costa Mesa. Car show: Mooneyes Xmas in December. (Among other events.) Beach.
welcome to socal, this is our better weather now, till after the Rose Parade. It will start to get wierd in feb. [mebbe RAIN!]
Cannot go wrong at Donnie's I have known him for years now and have watched him go from cutting hair at people's houses to owning 3 shops (now a 4th in Australia I think). Costa Mesa is cool, you are right there in the middle, close to LA and close to south county. I was born and raised out there, grew up in San Juan Capistrano/Dana Point in my youth. It isnt car related by if you want to go relax and see some history get down there. Lots of car stuff to do you will find your favorite places to see and go to.These are pics of Dana Point I took back in June when I was back home...as well as one of the locals. Congrats again, I hope to follow soon.
Just a tip here - whatever you do - never hand your YOM plates over to the DMV - bring clear photocopies. If you hand them over you will never see them again. If they insist, ask for a supervisor. If they still insist refuse and go to another DMV. I like to make the trip to the San Clemente DMV just off of scenic Pacific Coast Hwy. Their lines are never long and they are more helpful than most. The DMV drones more often than not do not know their own rules and I have had to fight with them and show them printed proof from their own website - even then I had to fight, as they were in denial that their website actually had the correct information posted. Other than that, welcome - you'll love it here.
OH NO - don't let another El Matador thread get started, it got ugly last time LOL Weasel, I took my YOM's into the Fullerton DMV. They took them over to the Xerox machine and made copies and handed them back. Got my regi about 4 weeks later.
