Mines not favored by many. But I sure do like it. On the road with a tag this week after a year of money and labor. Oh and I read the trim ring thread and put mine on.
i went driving around my area to find stuff. and i found a 1925ish model tt C cab truck! all complete sitting in a guys yard! may go after it next year!
Thanks guys. I was busy racing off road motorcycles when a guy at work asked me if i wanted a lil hot rod project. I went and looked at it and had to have it. I really wasnt prepared for what I was biting off. It was a frame, body, engine and trans. I have had to address everything on it. The body had never been mated to the frame. It was really an awful start. But I pressed on mostly by myself with just a 1 car garage. The compliments are appreciated more than I can say. At first I thought I had a Rrod. Then the Rrod site ran me off so I came here after seeing this site get bashed over there. It was then I realized I liked traditionals way more than the other stuff. Mines not a real traditional, nor will it ever be. Guy I got it from has a 32 with a flatty and yes, I wish this lil car had one as well. It came with this 4 bolt, double hump head, solid lift 350. If it is on par with the rest of the car when I bought it, I will be addressing that soon.
yes you would be correct proportions were to stretched with the big olds and the small cowl ( in my oppinion) so with help from a good friend we chopped the front section of the T's a pillars off and welded on A fronts so it now all bolts up perfectly. not as easy as just getting a new set of pillars around here
I'm pretty sure my grand dad started with a model T to make this car. Crude I know but the spirit was willing. Here is one of mine. Started with the front of a 26 touring, the rest is made by yours truly. Sold it, cause that is what I built it for. Going to do another to keep someday.
