want to ship a pallet parts from Texas (79072) to Wisconsin (53153) any suggestions or ideas? I figure ask the experts before I go off half ****ed.
I used forward air out of st louis a few years back, I know they used to operate out of several different airports, cheap, but you have to take it to them, and pick up at their docks. Rich
I keep hearing about that site ushipit.com I've never used it but everyone seems to get pretty reasonable pricing from them!
There should be more than one freight company that has a shipping dock in Plainview. If the buyer can pick the pallet up at the dock in Waukesha that might save some shipping and it looks like it might be a pretty direct route with few transfers. Dock to dock usually saves a few bucks on shipping and most outfits won't pickup or deliver to a residence anyhow. No forklift or dock to get the pallet of the truck. Check rates several ways though as they can vary a whole bunch. I used to spend most of my day ordering stuff for a company that I used to work for and there there are a lot of differences in both cost and time between companies. It's best if you build a solid crate for what you are shipping too. That will keep things secure and keep prying eyes and hands off what might be on the pallet.
