Am I the only one who likes to stare at these and look at the cars and try to guess what year it is? The yellow nova says at least 73?

Interesting photo! This seems to be a VERY early application of the Bi-Flex bumper. Anybody know the year and make of the car?

I knew the guy who owned the "Your Fathers Mustache" shops. I wish he was still around to ask him about this one.

Above, the USS Maine. Below, the Iowa, newest warship in the fleet
and more advanced than the maine. Took part in the bombardment

For a training exercise, two troopers employ an old cavalry trick
for a heavy-fire situation, using their horses as a shield while they
return fire. Photo thanks to floridamemories!

Looks as though armament design had progressed a bit since the civil war.

July 1898, Lt. Col. Theodore Roosevelt leads the First U.S. Volunteers
-- aka the "Rough Riders" -- in a charge to take San Juan Hill, Cuba.
Ironically, most of the cadre were dismounted for the fateful frontal
charge. The war accomplishments of Admiral Dewey at Manila Bay
and TR in Cuba made them both national heroes -- with major political
implications! Dewey was courted for the presidency, while Roosevelt
became the youngest U.S. president ever. Photos THANKS to
    teddyroosevelt.com!

  29. Naw...it's just that kids feather is obscuring the rear glass and C pillar a little giving the appearance of a shorter roof. It's a 59 Edsel.

Since I see people posting pictures from Woodstock, circa the 60s,,,,,, though the ticket stub does not say the Beatles it was from their concert in 1964 in Baltimore, MD.

    I WAS THERE :):)

Even better would be if I had pictures which I do not :(.
