  4. We were just talking about them today. I said there was one in Roslyn and the Village. The whole town of Roslyn was jam packed with hippies on the week ends. Loved to drive through them with the hot rod.

I'd also like to know where this one is. I am going to share the photo with the guy I was talking to.

    Thanks for the added info!

  5. How about this one? I have posted it in the past.

Whooo. Truly sick. That pic brings back
memories of when I worked in a late-model
wrecking yard in Stoney Creek Ontario, back
around 1981. I was working inside dismantling
cars and there was co-worker in the bay next
to me, also doing dismantling. I forget what I
working on, but he was dismantling the remains
of a totally wrecked and partially burned-out.
two year-old Cadillac Seville. The car had
been part of a well-publicized local murder
investigation and had a bomb go off it in it,
killing the driver. The car sat in a police
compound for close to a year while the cops did
their investigation and scoured it for evidence,
before finally declaring it clear and releasing it
to us for dismantling and scrapping. The crime
    - probably a Mafia hit - ended up being unsolved,
by the way, and nobody was ever charged with
anything. I'm not even sure why the car was
brought inside for dismantling, instead of just
being crushed whole, as there wasn't much of
anything on the car worth salvaging. Anyway,
the car was brought inside and my co-worker
set to work on it, not knowing the story
surrounding this particular wreck. As he
worked, a god-awful odor started wafting
through the shop. Working under the dash, he
thought he saw something odd and he yanked
    on it . Suddenly, a woman's high-heeled shoe,
with the blackened remains of a foot still inside
it, fell on the floor! The cops had totally missed
finding this in their investigation! And the foot
was what had been stinking up the shop! My
co-worker let out a scream and climbed out
of the car as fast as he could - and then
proceeded to throw up! Needless to say, there
was bedlam in the shop as the boss and front
counter staff and customers all came running
back to see what the commotion was. My
co-worker took the rest of day off and not too
surprisingly, he ended up quitting a few days
    later.
