"BRIDGEHAMPTON DOUBLE 1964 - After a long battle, lasting 105 laps out of 110, with the 4.0 Ferrari 330P of Ludovico Scarfiotti, Walt Hansgen eventually won the race with John Mecom's Scarab Mk.IV Chevrolet."

"John Willment bought a chassis from Carroll Shelby - the CSX2130 - to build his own 4.7 A.C. Cobra Coupe. There was nearly no co-operation from Shelby's side. Here the car shortly before the start. One recognises the Willment 7.0 Ford Galaxie behind the A.C. Cobra Coupe."

"THE 3.0 FERRARI 250 GTO WITH CHASSIS 3767 GT Piper finished third at the 4th Angolan Grand Prix in 1962. Earlier he won the 1962 Rand Daily News Kyalami Nine Hours with the same car. Early 1962 he sold the car to America's Ed Cantrell and bought a new 250 GTO with chassis 4491 GT which he transformed to his famous "low liner" seen at the 1964 Angolan GP and Rhodesian GP."

"NASSAU SPEED WEEK 1964 - With this Lightweight Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport II Roger Penske won the Nassau TT. Immediately after the race he sold the car to his friend George Wintersteen, who entered it at the two last races. Later Wintersteen will transform the car to make an open Roadster of it. Never he succeeded to score with the car the same excellent results as Roger Penske realised."
