This is my first hot rod 1960. One of the very first metal flake paint jobs.
channeled over 32 rails.

 

If I paint mine will people quit calling it a rat rod??

 

Here's my project. Still close to the beginning of the entire process.

A little update from this past summer. I shot this blue by headlights the night before the Ralph's Diner show in Worcester and took home an award. Go figure...

Did i miss it or was there no fordor's? I'm fixing to start on mine. I really want to go traditional hot rod with this fordor. Good idea or? And the Vickie is one we are selling.

 

Latest update .......... changed out the steels for wires

 

This has always been my favorite Model A. It was featured in the December 1962 issue of Hot Rod magazine.

I thought it was interesting because of the front suspension.

I built this in 1995-6, sold it in 2001... I loved this car. put 10000 miles on it in the years I had it.

 

This thing just looks mean. I like it

Heres 1 we built for the shop a coupel of years ago. of course as soon as it was done we sold it.

 

And 1 of my favorite, all time builds. 29 cabriolet, turned removable 3w hardtop.

Well, I thought I'd already replied to this one, but obviously not.

Anyway, my '30 is awaiting its turn in the garage, hopefully early in the New Year.

 

Ive Been tempted ALOT to paint .....Will never paint mine- Im on a mission from God to educate the masses on what a RR is what a RR is not....I'll take the bitter with the sweet....

 

You gotta love that 60's show rod stuff and a fordoor to boot!!!
