Is (or was) there anything that goes between the firewall and the mount(s) that bolt to the frame? I've searched the usual places and I even asked over at the "barn" but I think they're all napping... :D

While I'm setting up my wood I'll use some blue tape so I don't get gouges but if anything goes between the two, I'd love to know. I haven't found any info pertaining it, so I am guessing the answer is no, but wanted to run it past you all first.

  2. Try MTFCA- they'll know :D

The T firewall brackets bolt to the side of the frame and then directly to the firewall.

    Thats it.

I agree with "fiveohnick2932"...the brackets bolt directly the the frame and firewall. That's how my '26 coupe was when I took it off the original frame anyway!!

    Good luck with re-***embly! :D
