  5. LOL,,how many times have I heard "what's a MEL". I guess geraheadbill doesn't read this site very often. MEL: Mercury-Edsel-Lincon. A second generation Y-block engine built by Ford. Very similar to the FE: Ford-Edsel engine also made by Ford.

    The thing with the crazzy pipes,... Sorry to burst your bubble, but its actually a Lincoln Y-block.

    That was in 1958 Hot Rod Annual. I have the Magazine.
