WOW - Really Eyeballin' That Chopper

 

Dont think i ever posted these on here. This year was the first time that i got to get to bonneville me and the guy traveled cross country , hit a few bumps in the way broke down etc made it out there kinda late but the diehards were still there and we still had a blast . So heres some photos

Well I finished off another metal piece. and it has a new home to a fellow HAMB'r . Anyway it was made from a mid to late 40's Chevy heater cover, Ford timing gears ad chain,Oxygen tanks cap, some flex pipe an old cast wheel and other odds and ends we had in the pile of "Art Material" junk....lol anyway this is what we had ended up with.

Last week my highschool buddy [ BAD BOB ] from the late 1950's,called me about doing a monster car "T" for him like I did way back,he just finished up his 1965 Comet Cyclone 427 like the one he got just out of USN back in 65. Thing is Bad Bob fast too

Playing around with the idea of turning my beat up mustang into a 4x4 ralley car

 

heres another one, missed last friday, but great thread, keep the good stuff coming!!

 

I came across some bamboo place mats 4 for $2.50. Just for laughs I tried to paint them. It's difficult since the profile of the mat changes with each reed.

It's been a while since I've posted anything new. The small cars are kicking my butt right now. I was able to crank out this 11" X 17" Shelby GT350 poster for work. The car was all done in Illustrator except for the tiny highlights and the logo reflections in the hood & windshield.
