Now that I see those two "Voodoo Race of Doom" panels, I remember there was one before those two where he's taking off his windshield etc. getting ready and taking off- I know it says pt.1 pt.2, but the first one had no title I think...
ive got the one where they are taking the windshield off. i'll try and scan it up its on the back of the catalouge of alex xydias sitting in the socal 34 coupe. i would love to see the voodoo race 3 as ive wanted to see them all, i think it would make a cool tattoo sleeve.
There wasn't a part 3, I remembered it wrong... just a non-numbered panel then "one & two." I have the art for the last one, "part 2," but not the other two, or the catalogs they're in.

Thanks especially to the early poster who listed the early copies of 'Hot Wheels' As soon as I saw the cover, I remembered being ~8 yrs old, sitting at Warners drugstore, having just spent my quarter on a root beer, a candy bar, and issue #1 of the short lived HotWheels series. Just found a copy on ebay and ordered it.

pt2 of Sore Loser 1972 Scott Jackson in Thrill Drivers by Jack Keller . Scott lasted 6 more issues before retiring. Stock cars, muscle cars,grand prix,dune buggies,& motorcycles dominated these later issues. Sadly the hot rods got dual headlights and fins reflecting what was happening at some major auto shows in the late 60s & 70s. By the mid 70s hot rod comics disappeared from the local comic racks.
