Summit bright blue metallic! was originally ultra blue pearl but i ran out of paint ordered more and got this! apparently they originally sent me the wrong color so when I ordered more this is what I got, shot the grille shell and fell in love so repainted everything mid-job!
"Healey Blue" It really is the signature color for Austin-Healeys and provokes fist fights over what the true color is. I could give you a paint code, but then I'd have to kill you.
Tough to decide which one of these I like the best. They're all pretty damn near perfect for the car they're on.
I had the paint on the car over two years and never had to wax it! I thinned the paint about 10% and it flowed really well. No color sanding or buffing needed. That said who knows how long it could last in a garage. My Stude lived outside until I sold it.
my dad drank red white and blue when pbr was out of his budget... wonder if that stuff's still around.
AMC metallic blue, engine enamel...it's a couple of shades off the original Chrysler blue for the '49 silver anniversary.
