"Ruby Deluxe" 35 Ford Custom, RECOVERED!!!!!!

Heres the official scoop:

• Thurs morn: Truck, Trailer and car stolen at approx. 1am from a private residence in Burbank.
  
• Thursday noon: Thousands and thousands of people, internationally, informed of situation via HAMB, and other websites & hot rodders
  
• Thusday evening: theft information officially takes on "viral" status on the internet
  
• Thursday day: truck found abandoned at Ave 23 & Pasadena ave, in Los Angeles
  
• Friday: Truck recovered from impound: small hole in driver door handle to pop locks, steering column opened up to access ignition, minimal damage.
  
• Friday night: report of trailer abandoned in Pico Riviera
  
• Sat morning: trailer recovered from impound, no damge. Doors locked, unknown contents......
  
• Sat morning. 11:30 am; locks removed to inspect contents............35 FORD INTACT, UNTOUCHED!!!
  

How frickin crazy is this story?!
I truely believe that the HAMB, internet, and YOU GUYS are largely responsible for the recovery of this vehicle. It appears in my opinion that the theives simply got in over their heads, possibly hearing about all of the publicity associatede with the theft, and abandoned the whole deal.

Fan-freaking-tastic!!! While it is nice that the thieves abandoned their stolen loot without doing much harm, I still think a weekend in a small cage with at least several very hungry pit bulls would be a just punishment. If they survive that, send them to Devil's Island and let them fend for themselves...

great ending..i spoke to bugs at ink and iron and the guy has dedicated so much time to that ride,he must be stoked at the outcome.Looks like we wont get to do the HAMB meet and Beat..down
