    Here is a bit of information, this really adds a twist to the story:

    It first APPEARED that the trailer had not been opened, as I reported earlier, but upon further inspection when we unloaded the car at the shop, there is evidence that the rear door locks were removed and re-installed, they were actually re-installed backwards.
    SOOO, it appears the crooks opened the back door looked in, then re-locked it!!
    WTF!!
    I would die to know the true story behind this, but never will... but most importantly everything is o.k.!!
