    That rear window belongs there.
I replaced the rear wrap around glass in my shoebox with a 51 Ford F-1 unit only because I had a spare cab in the back yard.

The yellow I really like...it looks as though in 1954 that is the car an actor of the day would have had built.

Holy crap. The real world work and the photoshopping are beautiful. I like the blue and white the best, but I wouldn't want to be the one to choose either. Outstanding!

Awesome Vic Skip! Front end looks great. Are you going to french it or leave the lights stock? Looks good the way it is.

I love the Yellow/Black but the black doesn't look right on the roof for some reason. You're right, right out of early 50's Hollywood. Would look beautiful on a convertible. The PB&J is real sweet too, figuratively speaking of course.

I was thinking of the baby blue like I photoshopped with a white interior (dark blue carpet, white seat with gold piping on ends, white dash, white headliner) gold engine, perhaps just tiny bit of gold striping on tops of fenders and centers of wheel covers in gold.

Wow! Great job, Mark! You certainly do have a great eye for design... proportions, stance, everything.

Awesome RoyalShifter!!! It looks like you favored the 49-50 Ford headlight rims/rings. Perfect all the way around.

What a great looking car, really like the story that goes with it. Could we see this color combination swapped? I've always liked that '56 ford black & yellow combination. [IMG]

Love the car !!! I have a question, in the first pics it shows 3 raised ribs on the fender skirts. Is this stock original or is it a custom touch ?

Skip, Got to agree with Bass. I would go with a facory color - two tone. I would like the factory salmon color with white pearl. I think you are building a milestone style tribute car. What a great way to remember your friend's dad.

After seeing James' photoshop work I hunted for an aubergine (eggplant)/black example, couldn't find one, but might be nice.

I like the yellow and black, it kinda locks the car into the mid fifties (when that color combo first appeared on the Ford Sunliner). Stuff a 312 y block in it to complete the mid fifties vibe; you know, he saw the color combo on the wreck he was yanking the motor from at he yard. That is truly a well executed car. (JJ, your white/blue ran second, sorry). vic

That looks great,a lot better without the wrap-around window!

Another factory combo (And I realize the trim is way different) is Salmon rose and Raven black

Shoezy has ALWAYS BEEN A FAVE......Instant CLASSIC.:)

I would use the Salmon Rose on the bottom and Raven Black up top.... and if ya wanted..Flake the Salmon Rose HEAVY on the Top....

..And piull up to the Academys Next year... hahahah
