Event Coverage Mid December Run

I'll go out and hold back traffic on the highway....er uh runway.

We saw some some of that giant dandruff stuff last night but there was enough rain to melt it all. Hoping for good weather though!

 

Of course we'd love to have ya but I totally understand. I'm thinking we should get everyone down in front of the stage in the theatre and take a group pic with your logo on the screen

Travis, will you have any of the pinup girls from the kkoa show at this event that can keep us frozen guys from the north warm if we come? If you do I would like to request two of them, to keep me sandwiched between them and keep me warm.

Not yet, I'll be pre-running the route this weekend in between 2 trips out of town to help a friend move and thanksgiving dinner with the fam. So much for time off!

Is the road that Tony was talking about 13th Ave heading north from 81 & Limestone Rd? That's one my Dad said to try, he thinks it goes to Marquette.

 

Yes it is 13th to Moccasin and stay on the black top it will get you there with some twists and turns. we take it all the time to get to Marquette. I will be around all week if you need some help let me know.

 

Looking forward to Thanksgiving, the Mecum Auction in KC first weekend in Dec. and then this event soon after. Great time of year---

Downtown Gypsum is super tiny, I will be parked in front of my uncle and aunt's store, Scanlan Hardware on Main Street. The best way to get there from the Derby area is to come up Ridge Road in Wichita. Ridge changes names but ends up coming right through Gypsum as our only paved street (Main Stret) haha.

 

Count me in...I have a buddy from work that will be coming also...sounds like a hell of a good time...Later

got the heater working in the 50, mittons hangin off the rear view mirror, ice scrapper in glove box and whiskey under the seat............we're ready!

 

Who needs a heater i dont even have side glass.haha But jeff will have me beat if he brings his hotrod. lookin forward to it. trin to get a few more guys to come along.

 

Pre-ran the route this weekend, and all is good! The first half is kinda boring at times but it gets us to some cool spots, the 2nd half has a ton of great scenery and just a little bit of twists and hills.

Looking forward to seeing everyone, I will need an approximate number about a week out so that we can make sure to have enough food at the Paramount, etc. So if anyone is bringing company just let me know so I can hopefully get everyone taken care of.

I'm hoping to be at the Paramount for food at 4:30pm to eat so we could start the movie at 6. There is another event going on in the Theatre earlier in the afternoon so we're kind of stuck with the evening time. Hopefully that's not a deal breaker for ya!
