    The Mercury is a '52. Like the Ford it retained the flathead until '54 while Lincoln got the OHV V8 in '53.

  3. Looks like Roosevelt Way looking south. The Sears store in this picture was where I had my first encounter with that new "miracle" known as TV about 1949.
