1918, use it for a night light. I have about 15 more but newer ones waitin restoration....that is a list that never ends....
nothing to fancy but heres my wayne in front of my shop,I left the guts in to so its damn near to heavy to carry off or blow over
Mine is a bit different. I was going to restore it to stock, but found very little info on this model. Also needed a computer and found only one guy in the country that had one, and he couldn't really be bothered by my asking about shipping cost. So I just did my own thing to it. Stripes are by Jimmy C. It's a A.O. Smith I believe from the late 50's.
I restored these two, they are in my living room. The Tokheim has a red plastic translucent top with 4 light bulbs under it... I've been told it's rare... It came down from Seattle to FL in the back seat of a Corvair convertible.
Cool thread. Not to hijack it but I have a question for all the gas pump collectors out there. These things are HEAVY, do you guys keep the guts in them or just keep the shells? I have a Bennet in the rafters but the pump is down in the woods.
