This photograph of Santa Claus and several children appeared in the Portland Evening Express on December 15, 1926 as part of a plea for readers to assist the Evening Express Christmas Happiness Campaign.

Love that Real trolley car converted to a diner.I remember a couple in the Detroit area as a kid in the 50's.
The ex miiltary Studebaker dump in the next shot is cool also.Fairly rare as most military Studes went to Russsia on Lend-Lease.Surplus Jimmie Deuce and a halfs were common in the U.S..I remember Dearborn Twp. using them as municipal trucks in the 50's.

 

better not tell "Cool Hand Luke!!"...
