Well yes he did restore it in a sense but he had to use another nonconvertible 57 to do it. (If thats him) I saw some pics of the excavasion of the one he dug up but dont remember this exact pic.
Its been a while since seeing the pics so Im not sure.

He said that they had built a road (in eastern ky I beleive)years ago (when a junk 57 convertible wasnt worth anything) and partially pushed dirt over it on the side of the road,I guess to help bank the road up?

WOW! That reminds me of a spot here in ct that has about 10 cars burried in the woods all you can see is a fender here, part of a door there ect. I remember trying to dig one up,A 59 Plymouth!

This old Pontiac was on my land when I bought it. Years ago it was on it's side and rotted completely away. I've looked for anything to salvage but not much is any good.

looking at a lot of those pics, I just gotta say, to put em back you would need a second parts car, or those were used as parts cars at some point.

That being said, I am guilty of draggin in some as bad. My 54 Convert was a good example.

Looks very similar to a 1960 Chrysler Saratoga I owned when I was 18, black ext, sky blue cloth interior, I was riding a motorcycle in the rain to work and an old guy who owned a dry cleaner shop next to the sign shop where I worked, came out and gave me the business about riding in the rain, telling me I should be drivin a car,, said he has this car he can sell me for 50$, but it needs a new battery. So around the back is this immaculate 60 Chrysler Saratoga 4 dr htp, 383 golden lion engine, still could spin the tires from a stop sign,, 80,000 original miles. Had lot's of good times in the that car. Hated to sell it, but I joined the navy, my dad didnt want it.. sold it to some guy who said he was a buyer for a collector. LRK024 is the original ca black license plate,
