Hey James D? Could you do the body white or really light green, with scallops in the same green flake you have here? Thanks again man!

I saw the above picture on the "1942 Hudson" thread and for some reason thought of a rickshaw. (No idea why :)) Then I thought "How might a couple of HAMBers turn this into a rickshaw?" And this is what I came up with. For some reason it comes out a little blurry, but I hope you get the idea.

This flathead comes with the special reversed water pump inlets specially ordered from Photoshop Auto Parts.

Yeah? Like, here's my ride, do what you want, I don't care? ...or more like you guys got any skills, prove it?

What??????????, isn't it bad enough people post on here, get what they want, and they can't say fucking thanks? Now we got too cool for school too? News flash hot shot: We do this for fun, for free, for people who ASK NICELY. Where did common sense and politeness go?

But hey, that's just me, what do I know?

Hey RichG, just wanted to say thanks for the photochop (and no, not because of the post above haha!). I showed my girl the different options you posted and she dug them but maaaaan am I in trouble now, she REALLY liked the one you chopped! The plan all along was to chop the car someday down the road but you really got her going with that picture. Thanks again for taking the time to do those!!

if you ask me im not the one being rude. i didnt want to give any direction at all. and i didnt ask either. i simply posted a picture and if someone liked the car enough and wanted to play with it id love to see some creative things. im not asking anyone to prove anything. im clueless when it comes to any kind of digital editing so im impressed by any modification. and as far as me being too cool for school....id really like to know how you got that impression of me by reading "if youre bored go wild". im in my early twenties and in no way think i know it all if even a little. i joined this forum last week to learn and network with some cool cats. now if i may sir, allow me to put on my polite pants so i can tell you to go fuck yourself.

If your intention was as you state, then it clearly didn't come across that way with "if youre bored go wild". Did I overreact? A bit, but it wasn't all directed at you, you just had the misfortune of being the last person who posted.

Just for your information, I'm 40 and I don't know shit. I do know, however, that when I want something I try to make myself clear, especially in a written forum such as this. Clarity keeps folks from drawing the wrong conclusions from your words, well, at least some of the time. It would have taken you mere seconds to state your intentions with your picture. Read back through this thread (when you have a few hours, lol) and you'll see what I'm talking about. I was pissed because it seems that folks have forgotten how to... I don't want to say be polite, but at least acknowledge their humanity.

I guess it all boils down to this: people in this thread, the true photoshop artists (not including myself by the way) provide something here that you won't normally find in our society: free work. Take your picture to your local PS guy and ask him to "go wild" with it, do you think he'll take the time to do that for free? These guys do, and they provide ARTWORK for free, so if asking that folks show THEM a bit of solicitude and graciousness is too much to handle, then maybe it's not a good idea to post in the thread.

After reading a bit more i understand what youre talking about. i suppose i shouldve been a bit more clear. i apolagize if i seemed to take peoples skill for granted. this is my very first forum experience and perhaps i shouldnt type the way i speak. thank you for your time rich and the guidance. the last thing i want anyone here to think is that i take their skill, advice, etc., for granted. im digging the blue rich. thanks man.

sooooo lets try this one more time.......

the front end of my 53 here is stock except for, of course, bags. no drop spindles or anything. i have a mustand II and drop spindles laying around i just need to get off of my ass and get to it. so if anyone could i would love to see my car sit parallel on the pavement as if there was drop spindles and a mustang II sitting under there already. ive been thinking about a semi flat burgandy on bottom and high gloss/ high metal flake silver top. can someone give this a shot please? your time will be much appreciated.

The picture of your Chevy was way too kool not to mess with and yes I was bored...

I reversed sectioned the body four or more inches and increased the wheel wells to fit
the car. To mess with minds, I Jimmy’d up the wheels and increased the size of the
wheels and tires. I also lowered the bumpers front and back and I found a used hood
    on Ebay.

Not seen one done this way before..

    Happy Trails, Mick

thanks broseph. thats definately different. i have plans to lower the bumpers this winter especially the front so big thanks for giving me a preview. thanks for the hood as well hah. i actually have two hoods for it. the hood i ran for awhile was beat to shit to the point where it was beyond my skill to repair so this old man in a local club gave me a perfect nosed hood. the mounting requires a bit of repair i havent gotten too but i will soon.

Does anyone have a '57 Buick Special 2DR HT in their library that they could photoshop. Looking for a stance similiar to the '54 Chevy on post 5366 or 5367. Looking for a stock body w/stock body trim. Car is to be solid black. Would like one with the trim insert left all stainless and one with the stainless having a the red insert. I have three rims that I am looking at. One is a Foose Injector or DUB Nasty 5 or Drone. All chrome.
    Looking to run 295 X 45 X 20" on rears and 255 X 50 X 19" on the front.

Open to other wheel options. There are so many to choose from!

    Appreciate your ideas and talents!
