  4. Not really vintage but car related - sorta. From about '91 or '92 - my daughter & her cousin with Dale Sr:

Damn right, DeuceDon. Our youngest daughter learned from the start to respect guns as lethal weapons. She started out with BB-guns, then started target shooting with a good ol' .22. At her own request, she took Ohio's hunter-safety course. When she was 14, we got her her own .22 semi-auto. WHY? Because we camped a lot in the DEEP woods where there were roving dogs in packs, as well as coyotes, also in packs. She understood to keep a cool head and pick her targets, if her life came under threat. Now, we don't have to worry about it, as she's 21. This girl can handle horses with confidence (which would scare a LOT of people to death), and she knows how to handle a gun and tell others, as well, about respecting guns. She's done fine, is self-reliant, and we don't have to worry about her when she walks our land in confidence. At least she has a chance against dog or coyote packs, if they ever try and jump her. No apologies. Defending yourself is a constitutional right -- and a precious one.
