    Just finished all 800+ pages. Certainly an interesting twisting thread to get to guys with muddy boots. It also seems people like pictures of women that are now well into their 70s and early 80s. Maybe the person that posted all the then and now photos of Atlanta can do the same with all the swimsuit shots. 1950 20 years old... 2010 you do the math....

    The p40 on the roof of the gas station was in Everett Washington west end of Hewitt Ave across from the train station.

    Great Pix ROCKY!!---This particular shot shows how close my house was to the North American plant where so many P-51's & B-25's were produced during WWII era.
    Good pix of the early Mustangs & Mitchell's!
    How many of you recognize the Bell P-39 "Aircobra's?
    The engine was BEHIND the pilot, & the driveshaft turning the prop ran BETWEEN the pilots LEGS!!!!

    Superb pictures - thanks for sharing, I like the 'posed' ones with the no sign of dirty overalls and the girls without a hair out of place :). The 3 flying shots at the end are as good as it gets
