First one is a Hudson Suoer Six in Wash. DC
Middle one I love the "come hither" look.

  3. Don't know the plane in the fore ground but I'd like to see more of it. :)
The one in back is a DC-2, you don't see many of those, The landing lights in the nose differentiates it from the later more popular DC-3.

The plane in front is "The Irish Swoop". It was designed by Al Mooney when he worked for Bellanca. It was entered in the MacPherson race to Australia. It did not start the race.

if anyone wants to see some really neat, local photos from their area; hit up the local book store. They have a new series out and the books are all from local towns in your area and filled with history, stories, and photos. The books represent single towns per book and they are published all over the country.

You are right. Many of the large threads here contain many pages of broken links resulting in wasted HAMB resources.

Not sure of the time.... or the type of cars..

  28. Culver V! Also an Al Mooney design. Very nice little airplane! A fellow in Fresno has one of these, the interior is beautiful! Very "Art Deco". ;)
