Culver TD2C-1, these where used as target drones but after the war made a nice little single seat sport plane for little money.

That's why I originally posted photos as smaller JPEGS that could be made larger by clicking. Then they can't go away because they aren't hosted. Few seem to do this so I didn't either.
If these photos were "hosted "50 years ago they wouldn't be here today.

**Any feedback on this?

His iden***y is obscured by a cloth 'bunnet' - a hat very much de rigueur at this time and a forerunner of today's 'C U Jimmy' cap with its attendant ginger hair!
