this one was 4 1/4 rear and 5 front with the a pillars leaned (actually cut across the cowl so it didn't get the kink in the pillars)

  5. My '51 Plymouth with 3 1/2" taken from the front and 4 1/2" taken out of the rear with the stock rear window tilted forward. I wanted an even chop so that's what was required to make it as even as possible. The rear window is the one thing I don't really like. Maybe before I paint it I'll redo the window.

Mine is 2 1/2". I should dig it out and finish it, it's been sitting for 24 years and counting. Maybe when my current one is finished.

  15. No offense man but your truck doesn't quite fit the whole realm of the HAMB. It's a bit far from a traditional build.

Cut 3" at the B pillar, 2 1/2" at the A pillar. Top lined up at the B pillar, windshield leaned back. Windshield still opens and rear window still rolls down. Top filled with 56 Chev sedan skin.

Just did some research on that car, f-ing epic... That's why I love this forum - you start out drooling over some awesome chops, only to find yourself learning about how a guy in the early '60s dropped a 2000hp V12 Allison into an A.

'51 Chevy owned by Ron Lawson from Owego,NY. 1-3/4" chop at front, not sure about rear, but he lowered the trunk lid into the rear fenders, note how much deeper it sits. Tasteful.
