For recent pictures of Vineland and ATCO speedways, go to "South Jersey Dirt". Select " 3 wide picture vault". Keep scrolling down til you see them on left of screen.

The Vault is a treasure of dirt car photos from 50's to present.

All these modifieds images are great. I think its time for a little Ascot Park Gardena modified action. We generally called them "The Coupes". Here is Gino Russo in #24, a Figure-8 Coupe photo from Ascot Park in 1969, the very last year they were allowed on the track. Enjoy.

I would like to, or even better, a nostalgia book on the early days of Ascot Park Gardena but I just don't have the volume of photos required to do a quality book. I need about 1,500 photos of Ascot Park from 1957 thru 1971. I know the person who "inherited" the photo collection of the two primary track photographers of Ascot Park during the 1960s and he does not want anyone to have access to them. It's very sad.
I do have some great early Figure-8 photos but I beg and grovel for more. Many more.

I'll see what I can find. I use to go in '67 to see the coupes. that was wild, saw some bad crashes there. I know I have some pictures, not a lot.
