I've posted this elsewhere before on the HAMB, but I think it should go here as well. This is the Tucker Talisman, which was going to be a 2nd smaller car in the Tucker lineup.

It is the Aurora, built by Father Alfred Juliano, a Catholic priest . A fiberglass body on a 1954 Buick chassis. Was sitting in CT behind a body shop in the early 90s.

    also more of the Mystere

Saw this Cadillac at the AACA museum in Hershey PA last fall. Cannot remember all the history but I do remember it was one of the "dream show cars' of the 50's.

Wow Studearch, I was thinking about this car as I was looking at this thread. Haven't heard anything about it for the last 15 years, I'm assuming it's still sitting like this?
My brother witnessed the wreck back around 62. Brought home a small chunk of fiberglass as a suvernier!
The car was on a used car lot here (hard to believe a 57 Motorama car would end up on a used car lot in Albuquerque 5 or so years after it's showing!) and apparently the lot owners son and the lot boy "borrowed" it one night. Took it out to South Eubank where all the kids street raced back then. Racing it, they lost control and hit a power pole!
So yeah, the fate of the 57 Corvette SS!

I just came across a few more concept cars that I don't remember seeing before. Too bad some of them never made it into production!

dr1.jpg dr2.jpg dr3.jpg While visiting an open house in a 19th c mill building in Rollinford NH ,the next town over, from ours I came across David Random, an amazing craftsman . Thought I'd share his work as it reminds of the dream car styling of the 50s.
