At the bar in Paramount downtown Salina. My pal Grouchy SS (Frank) from Lincoln, NE telling me I'm number one, Gasserlouie, Cuzzindeke, and my good friend Tom who is Lawrence's brother and Travis other Uncle. There was one good story after another at this table.....[IMG]

The marquee sign outside the restored grand Stiefel Theater downtown Salina where we watched Coolstuff's dvd from the Lead Sled show. It was fantastic on the big screen especially the drag racing. [IMG]

All 3 of the Galaxies would have been a cool pic but your wright it was cold and mine was way dirty. Wish I could have seen the show on the big screen but I had to go to work:mad: and now I think I need all the Vintage Torque DVD's after watching that one.

YES! Mrs. Engdahl who is the widow of the founder of this museum kept a close eye on me. She is shown in this photo with my pal Larry Swisher from Gypsum who owns my old maroon T bucket roadster. She keeps this place spotless. There was NO dust on any of the cycles.[IMG]

Downtown Marquette had many beautiful buildings and was very well kept as are most Swedish communities like this one. I would have have taken more photos had the cold wind not been blowing 900 mph. [IMG]

  13. Travis, first of all thank you so much for putting the run together. Frank GrouchySS and I had a really great time. It was nice to me a couple new HAMBers and several that I already knew. The whole tour was well planned and very educational, as well as FUN. The hot dogs and chili was much apprieciated as we were starved. Not all of us stopped at Wendys for lunch (you know who you are) along the way! The movie was super seeing it at the theater, what an elegant old theater indeed. Nice job on the movie Coolstuff! I bought 3 copies and a calender to boot. I didnt catch the name of Calvins hotrod shop, but he was a great host also and a hell of a nice guy. Thanks for a great way to pass a crappy cold winter day all of you guys in Kansas!!!

I didn't see any yellow 55 (you know who you are) but I did see some sexual harrassment from an unnamed Cornhusker....

  16. Bob, the picture of the yellow 55 is just above the picture of your Willys. Its probably just old age setting in. Go see your eye Dr. for help. But seriously, the snow tires were back ordered so it didnt make the trip this time.Thank god they didnt come in as the heater felt sooo good in the truck all day and night! And on a side note, Bruce didnt bring himself OR the chili with sausage in it as promised. Where were you Bruce?

  17. Paul, how could you rat out Frank like that on here? Bob, ask paul why he didnt wash his car Saturday morning too.

It is NOT acceptable to flirt with farm animals in Kansas. Not kosher at all-----

  22. I was only trying to comfort the poor thing after what i saw you doing to it just moments prior to this picture. This isnt what you do in your spare time is it? Are you sure you are really buying and selling engines, or is that just a front for what you are really doing in your spare time? Please consider seeking professional help Paul. I would hate to see you locked up for these hanus crimes!

Hey GL, ask PF about his hillbilly parts customers and the Gay Pride website!

I think CoolStuff's next movie starring PF will be called Deliverance II

I'll go through my pictures tomorrow, I am backing up all of my photo collection right now, says it's going to take 4 more hours, so I'm taking the night off :)

Thanks to Brian Martin at McPherson College for the tour, Calvin Customs owner Calvin Calp for the tour of his shop, Paramount Bar for the food and a warm place to sit tell stories, Stiefel Theatre for letting me borrow the beautiful room to show the DVD, the KKOA and Vintage Torque for allowing us to do a showing of the DVD and of course all of you that came out yesterday to ride around with me!

There were about 20 people at most stops along the way, although the cast of characters changed as some joined us in Mac, left in Marquette, etc. I had a blast, and THAT is due to all of you coming along for the ride.

My pics are coming tomorrow, we have to have something to replace that image of the "bacon incident" posted above...

it is amazing how fast a thread involving PF can go into the toilet.
