i am always amazed how a set of wheels can change a look of a car. dad bought a polished set of old magnesium halibrands to swap back and forth on his roadster.

here is the before and after.

***JUST TO BE CLEAR, WE DID NOT POLISH THE PREVIOUS WHEELS***

Nice! I was a huge fan of the dark wheels but the polished look a bit more appropriate on that car with it being a really really nicely built roadster.

  8. Just a personal preferrence; I'd have to stick with the unpolished version, but that car looks GREAT with ANYTHING! And yes, I'd like to see it with the black wires too. ;)

Lovin` the unpolished...not so much the shinies....but unless you are a polishing addict, they`ll soon be dark again..lol.

Polished looks good, but I also like the rough gasser look too. BTW, those narrow front wheels are worth a small fortune.

  23. Hey Larry the wires won't fit on the front because of the Brrrrrruick brakes, I have some 16 and 18 black steel wheels with ribb and dirt tracks tires that I will try from the primered roadster.

Polished is good but I'm sure glad it's your dad doing it not me. Been there and in this Nebraska weather they turned dark everytime you turned around.

My preference is the polished! Save the unpolished for a coupe! :D
